Instead of waiting for a private table, we opted to sit at the communal table, which was spacious enough to provide us with plenty of room. We ordered spaghetti and two pizzas, and while everything was delicious, the pizza was the star of the show, prompting us to take the spaghetti home with us. The portion sizes were quite generous, making it impossible to leave the restaurant feeling hungry.
This situation caused us a lot of stress, preventing us from enjoying the musician who was performing. We struggled to make sense of the bill and expressed our confusion to the staff. When the owner got involved, he was extremely rude and told us that he didn’t want us in the restaurant anymore, simply because we wanted our checks split. We weren’t even raising our voices; we were just trying to have a civil conversation. We typically go to hear Joey play music on Tuesdays, but we were informed that Joey will no longer be playing there. We have no idea why, but it’s very disappointing since we used to enjoy the atmosphere and the music. Due to this experience, we will not be returning to this restaurant or to Amigo’s (which is owned by the same person), and we won’t be recommending it to others, as I know many people. There are plenty of other places that treat their customers much better! Goodbye!
After church, our group of six decided to try Amici's since several of us enjoy pasta. Unfortunately, I was quite disappointed. The only option for stuffed pasta was ravioli—no manicotti available. My lunch included three small pieces of heavily breaded and deep-fried chicken along with a mountain of spaghetti, which did not match the description at all. The others in our party who ordered chicken parmesan also noted the lack of meat and the excessive amount of spaghetti. The alcoholic beverages were quite expensive and served in plastic cups. One clever diner chose the build-your-own pizza, which, in hindsight, we should all have ordered! While the dinners were served quickly, they weren’t hot. This was our first visit to Amici's, and it will definitely be our last.
OMG this food was so good Sunday night. The toasted Ravioli mozzarella cheese stick and Calamari appetizers were the it! LOL Nathan's Chicken Parm with Alfredo, Lasagna (was cold but good), Gnocchi with Bolonese and Gnocchi with Bolonese meatballs were outstanding. And you have to get Rosemary's Cucumber Potion (cocktail) and Mojitos were so delish. Highly recommend this place.
Paid over $125 to feed 3 people no sides, drinks, deserts. That was the meals themselves. I had the lasagna. It had an interesting flavor, but it was dry and looked nothing like the picture (very little sauce). The food quality is about average for a restaurant that sells at a third of the price. Not impressed.
