We parceled kothamalli mutton with appam also. Every dishes were very tasty. Average ambience and pricing. Staff were cooperative and suggested us dishes. Will go there again to try other dishes. Though I’m from Kerala, Love the taste of Chennai.

Hi guys been here had their South Indian food here it’s decent enough you can try this restaurant it’s well decent South Indian food .
Love this place for its simplicity and authenticity. For those who are looking for it , the name has changed to Chennai Spice restaurant there's another one just around the corner so you' ll have to ask if the restaurant was Al shay before). It's my third time here and I loved the food each time. In the three times I ve been here, i ve had the mutton stew, pomfret fry fish was a bit small) , neer dosa, appam, mota rice, prawn curry, chickken amot, chicken fry and kube. And everything was simply amazing. The service is also great and it feels just like home. Great value for money with most meals not more than 50 dhs for 2 people. Definitely would go here everyday if I lived nearby!
Good place for some nice sea food and mangalorean cuisine. I have tried mangalorean style fish curry (king fish), chicken sukka with idli and pathrade (traditional mangalorean dish)
