Al Shallal - Dearborn Heights

Last night, my husband and I dined at this restaurant for the first time, and we were thoroughly impressed! The food was exceptional! It was so delicious that our one-year-old exclaimed "mmm" after every bite she took—what a joy! My husband ordered the mixed grilled entree, and all three meats were incredibly tender and packed with flavor. I opted for the chicken shawarma sandwich, which was equally delightful; the chicken was juicy and tender, and the garlic sauce was just right—I’m glad I requested extra on the side. The chicken lemon soup was perfect and something I would love on a cold, rainy day. Both the food and service were outstanding! My husband mentioned that he felt like family as soon as we walked in. We've definitely found our new favorite spot and can’t wait to explore more of the menu!

Nourhan and Chef Abdul were fantastic! The service was excellent, and the food was even better. They have amazing lunch specials. The chicken shawarma plate was delicious, and the fattoush salad was fresh and flavorful. They were incredibly kind and even treated us to rice pudding on the house!

Absolutely incredible! This might be the best food I've experienced anywhere in the world.

It's hard to put into words how amazing the people and the food here are. Absolute favorite, we drive an hour to come here and I'd gladly drive twice as far. If you can't decide get the mixed plate and try it all!
