Wouldn't be surprised if you missed it though since the outside is covered in thick brush and generally looks abandoned, the only sign they have is pretty hidden by the brush and doesn't stand out either. Food is pretty average, wouldn't be surprised if they said that a lot of their stuff was precooked or canned. They also really like to load up on the condiments and sour cream, would recommend ordering all sacuses on the side due to it. It's not horrible but feels amateurish, the prices are on the cheaper side and it's close to where I live so it evens out. They do however home make their dessert, which it is rare for most Mexican resturants in the area to have desserts to begin with. Tres Leche cake and fresh churrios are superb. Staff is nice and orders get done quick. Still recommend going if you don't feel like cooking and need something better than Taco Bell slop but still for a cheap cost, or if you want some good Mexican sweets without going all the way downtown.
I am visiting family from out of town and was seeking authentic Mexican cuisine. Unfortunately, the experience at this restaurant was disappointing. The chips were stale, the salsa tasted like tomato paste, and the beef chimichanga lacked flavor. Additionally, the food was served at room temperature. I would recommend looking for a true authentic Mexican restaurant if you are craving Mexican cuisine. Overall, this was the worst dining experience I have ever had. Food rating: 1 out of 5.
Let's start with the positives. The staff at this restaurant is friendly, nice, and a joy to interact with. However, the food was a major disappointment. The chips were hard, dry, and tasteless, with a poor texture. The burrito was mediocre at best and subpar at worst. The inclusion of green olives was unexpected and not listed on the menu, which was a letdown for me personally. The atmosphere is generic, with plastic tables that are uneven and wobbly. The chairs are unremarkable and uncomfortable for longer stays. Overall, I will not be returning to this establishment. The lack of notification about the green olives, combined with mediocre food and atmosphere, make it hard to justify a return visit. There are plenty of other Mexican restaurants in the area that offer superior quality at the same price point. I hope they make improvements soon, as their staff deserves better.
I haven't eaten at this restaurant yet, but I have picked up food for others here. The staff are all friendly and kind, and the interior has a cute and nice layout. Service: 5/5.
My family and I get dinner from here a lot. They have never disappointed.Food: 5/5
