Feedback gevenSlow to start, Food great. Went there for Valentines Day with a reservation. Had to wait almost half an hour for our table. Once we sat down the service was slow to start. Once we ordered the salad bar was great. Our Mahi Mahi was well prepared. The steak was good but not memorable. I'd try it again with their normal menu and a regular night.
Italian Gem Tucked Away in a Grand Hotel. I enjoyed a great meal tonight. I had the Rainbow Trout as my entree. But what really put the place over the top for me was the salad and dessert bars. (The salad bar comes with the meal. The salads were very fresh and the choices were many. The same holds true for the dessert bar. <br/ <br/ But what really topped it off was the service. I was waited on hand and foot, as if I were the only patron in the place! I tip my hat to Rich. He did a great job.
Tasty food, reasonable prices, super service, superb pampering are the ingredients for a great evening. The place has the warmth of yesteryear, the salad bar is super and the desert bar is extremely inviting. Music by the capable musician is a really thoughtful move that is an added bonus. Giulio and Don's have found the magic formula. Success is endured, and I sure hope they do not mess with any of the elements that make this restaurant a desirable place to visit.
We frequent this restaurant many Sundays after golf. It's always busy, and has wonderful food. The wait staff is attentive and friendly. Don't skimp, get the biscuit, it's worth every calorie with the home made jellies! You will be a regular!
The evening chef didn't put any love into the food; however the service was impeccable. The morning chef, though... this is one of the best Eggs Benedict that I've had. Simple, traditional with actual Canadian Bacon... But that Hollandaise was delicious. Even the hash browns, normally a tasteless mass on the plate at many places, was perfectly seasoned and full of flavor. Once again terrific service.
