L.a. Bistro - Dearborn

This is a great restaurant to enjoy a meal. The portion sizes are huge, so it's best to order one entrée per person. They serve a lovely bread before the main courses arrive. The pasta is delicious, and the menu offers an interesting blend of Mediterranean and Italian cuisine. The staff was very attentive and polite, and the place was clean and well-maintained. Parking can be a bit challenging, but overall, it’s a nice spot for a meal.

I was really disappointed and won't be coming back. I ordered the Newborn Vegetarian, but it didn't match what was described on the menu. The rice tasted like instant rice, definitely not basmati. The mushrooms seemed to be just button mushrooms and maybe some baby Bellas, but not shiitake nor portobello. While the portion size was generous, the dish was really unsatisfactory. On a positive note, my mom liked her soup. The service was just okay.

The food is absolutely delicious and the portions are extremely generous. The prices are very reasonable as well. I will definitely return! Their Chicken Parma is incredible.

I had a little trouble finding this restaurant. I came in about an hour before closing. It took 28 minutes for my steak to be served after my order and another 10 minutes after that for my appetizer to come. I asked for a refill on bread and water whenthe steak came. The bread took almost 20 minutes and the water arrived with the bill. I really would expect more regardingservice from any restaurant. I'd give a Ram's Horn about an 8 out of 10. Based on my experience I'd rate L.A Bistro a 2. Don'tget me wrong the food was excellent, if somewhat expensive. But please do something about the service.

I used to love their almond chicken. I went twice post pandemic and they've lost their flavors quite a bit. The food's still good just not great. The mushroom risotto tastes nice but isn't really a risotto there's no creaminess. I'm disappointedbecause I know what the food used to be like but again, it's not bad either.
