Krekel's - Decatur

I've always loved coming to this krekels ever since I was a kid. Out of all the krekels this is my favorite from the food, the people, and the original krekels building.

It's fantastic, even better than the other place! The food is fresh, and the staff is really friendly.

This review is for the location on Main St. The soft-serve was delicious, especially the strawberry flavor, which I enjoyed all day! The fries were fantastic, and the burgers offered great value. I would definitely return here the next time I'm in Decatur.

I visited this restaurant for the first time based on a recommendation from a driver, and I was really impressed. Their burgers are made fresh and cooked to order, allowing you to customize them just the way you like. The food, including the fries, remained hot from the first bite to the last. However, the milkshakes are truly the highlight and the main reason to visit. They did not disappoint at all! The first sip had me feeling heavenly, and by the last sip, I found myself craving a cigarette—despite not being a smoker!

This was my first visit, and I ordered double cheeseburgers and fries. You place your order, provide your name, and pay when it's ready. The burgers were juicy with a crispy exterior—truly classic burgers. You definitely have to try this place!
