Sunday 30th of July was forecast to be 26 degrees celsius, Sydney warmest recorded July day on record.
This cafe does seriously good coffee, which is unheard of on the Northern Beaches; not too bitter or burnt! Other reviewers seem to moan about Campos but
This is a sandwich bar or better tucked into a mini-mall next to Woolworths in Dee Why. I had a turkey wrap with cranberry sauce that came packed with lettuce and carrots, very healthy but tasted good despite that. I think the wrap was pita bread. It cost $9 which seems reasonable as you get two half-sandwiches and it will satisfy most people unless you have an extra-big appetite for lunch. My partner had an open sandwich on Turkish bread with bacon, egg, tomato and greens which she said was very good and I think cost $14. You order and they give you a number on a placard so then you sit at a table in the shared food court and they bring you the food. Its not as cheap as the fast food outlets but better quality.
The food is always good and quality is consistent. The staff are friendly and efficient. It is located in a walk way so not good except for a quick bite
