Burger King - Deep River

Always a great place to eat. However, sometimes their fries and or their hashbrowns are stale and really not fresh and end up not eating them.

If you want to understand why Burger King is declining or possibly disappearing, then pay a visit to this location in Kanata. I used to love a Burger King Whopper, flame-grilled and topped with basic toppings like onions, pickles, lettuce, and mayonnaise... but my most recent experiences have deterred me from returning. Today, I stopped by for a quick lunch around 11:30am. It wasn't busy at all, and I saw that there was only one burger sitting in the waiting area. Despite this, I decided to order a Whopper meal. There were no other customers in the restaurant. The server placed the burger along with the fries on the tray for me, but when I touched it, it felt tough. The bread seemed either very dry or burnt. I asked for a new one, explaining that it had been sitting for too long. They gave me another burger, but after just a few bites, I realized it was not only dry but also cold. I went back to the counter to complain, and the supervisor promised to give me a fresh one. After a short wait, I received a new burger. However, it was still dry and hot, suggesting that it had likely been heated up in a microwave instead of being flame-grilled. After just two bites, I threw everything into the trash and walked out. This kind of poor service, subpar product quality, and lack of attention to detail is a recipe for failure. This visit marks the end of Burger King for me.

This location has really gone down hill over the last few years! Filthy dirty everywhere! Bathrooms are an disgrace. Food is cold and no taste. Incredibly over priced food!!! Service is sub par. CLEAN UP YOUR BUSINESS!!!

Very clean, friendly service and food was fresh and exactly what we asked for!

Waited for full 5 minutes in drive thru without any acknowledgement and the place was not even busy. I yelled hello into the telecom several times. Finally I got fed up went inside spoke to a very nice rep. He promptly took my order and I left still upset. I cannot believe that this happened at a drive thru. Just acknowledge the customer, don't mind waiting but this was ridiculous. Other customer came in right after me with similar experience. Definitely on my not ever going back list of they can't be bothered being respectful. The drive thru person needs training.
