Popei's Clam Deer Park

I ordered the baked clams and a stuffed lobster, and both the appetizer and the main dish were delightful and satisfying. Our server, Mike, was very friendly and made sure everything was to our liking. The garlic bread was perfectly toasted and delicious. Overall, I truly enjoyed my visit and the meal. The classic rock music playing in the background added to the atmosphere as well. The prices were very reasonable. I highly recommend this place if you enjoy seafood, and I will definitely be returning.

This was our first visit to Popei's Clam Bar, and as the saying goes, "first impressions last." Ours was fantastic, thanks to our server Gio, who was humble, friendly, and very professional. My husband ordered king crab legs, yellow rice, and vegetables, while I had a lobster tail, baked clams, Greek salad, and yellow rice. For our appetizer, we enjoyed the freshly made mac and cheese with bacon, lobster, and crab meat. Everything was delicious! The atmosphere and music were lovely, and the prices were very reasonable. I ordered takeout from this restaurant and found the seafood to be quite fresh and flavorful. Overall, I enjoyed everything I tried. However, my Lobster Mac and Cheese had a hair in it, which was disappointing, and unfortunately made me feel unwell. I understand that mistakes happen, so I might consider giving them another chance, especially for the crab legs. I also tried the Buffalo shrimp, but they were a bit overcooked. Perhaps dining in would provide a better experience.

Great food and service and it wasn't as crowded as I thought it would be on Mother's Day. Be aware that many of the seafood entrees are MP. Although my favorite entree is more expensive I can still get 2 meals oug of it.

Father's Day was supposed to be at beach but the insane wind changed those plans so we tried to beat the crowd to Popei's without a reservation, I know very risky, but with a pregnant wife and baby son both very hungry,Jose and his staff got us a table quick and even put the Yankee game on for us. Our waitress Lara ,also pregnant like my wife quickly clicked and exchanged pregnancy craving ,even helping guide us thru the menu to help decide what we wanted, from my lobster and shrimp roll to my wife's fishermen's platter and not to mention probably best garlic bread on the island,,we are literally counting the days to go back
