Naf Naf - Deerfield

I tried the Chicken Shawarma Hummus wrap and a Falafel Pita, both of which were absolutely delicious! You get to choose between a Pita or a bowl, select either Hummus or Baba Ganoush, then pick your protein—shawarma, falafel, or kebabs. Finally, you can add a variety of salads and sauces. The pita was fluffy and soft, the shawarma was perfectly seasoned and fragrant, and all the toppings—chopped salad, cabbage, pickles, hummus, tahini, and garlic sauce—were incredibly tasty. I was initially worried that the pita might become soggy, but the staff were very accommodating and packed all the salads and sauces in separate small containers. It was an enjoyable dining experience overall!

Good food overall. Huge portions. Had ordered a steak rice bowl and the grease from the steak saturated the rice and pooled in the bottom of the bowl. Only food complaint is the meat is greasy. Clean restaurant but slightly uncomfortable seating...just not very welcoming. Staff is friendly but in a fake limited way. Not my favorite good vibes eatery...but again, besides the greasy meat, everything is delish. I prefer to do take out here.

They have only been open for a few weeks, so they are still getting settled in. Overall, they have made many thoughtful choices. This is the second fast-casual Mediterranean restaurant in downtown Deerfield. Aside from the lunch rush, the place tends to be quite calm. The overall vibe is "minimalist" with white decor, accented only by the menu board and the Naf Naf logo on the wall. Otherwise, it feels like the perfect spot to push some tables together for a larger gathering. The food is excellent, and the pitas are particularly outstanding. Pro Tip: Grab a six-pack of pitas to take home and use them to make pizza if you’re feeling lazy!

Great place. The staff is really nice. I had to pick up dinner a few nights ago and they closed and were very courteous and left me in and ordered me. The food was great too!
