Eating came too fast to be fresh and some courses not warm. very expensive in considering its easy-to-be pub food.

We arrived at 3 PM and were presented with two menu options. However, when we asked about the Sunday menu, we were informed that it had ended at 3 PM. It seemed unreasonable to offer it when it was no longer available. Overall, the experience was disappointing.

The options at the cooking station were disappointing, and the pudding selections were similar to what you’d find at breakfast. The experience at the breakfast buffet was much better, and if carvery had been available, it could have made a difference. Overall, I feel the price wasn’t justified by the quality of the food. Unfortunately, I won’t be returning, even though I’ve had enjoyable meals here in the past.

The new style Sunday lunch, which was NOT made clear through advertising or point of booking is a big let down from previous menu. Small starter choice, plated lunch with reheated shrivelled vegetables and served Luke warm. NO dessert included just brunch items like muffins to select. At £15.95 a person this is very overpriced especially as a Marstons restaurant adjacent offes far better value for money. After making a complaint to customer services, I am really disappointed by the return email response. We chose St Davids as a special occasion birthday meal choice and can honestly say I would not recommend to others.
