Defiance Ridge Vineyards

I hadn’t been there in 20 years, and I was pleasantly surprised to find that it’s still such a beautiful place!

This was our first visit to the restaurant, and it exceeded our expectations. Upon arrival, we noticed a self-seating sign at the entrance, so we chose a lovely table outside with a beautiful view. The service was prompt and courteous, with no hiccups at all. We ordered a glass of Defiance Ridge Norton and Twig and Twine Chardonnay, both impressive selections from an excellent vintage. The Rustic Cheese Board was reasonably priced and made for a delightful lunch snack. Overall, it's an ideal spot for a relaxed lunch and wine tasting experience.

We enjoyed a wine tasting and lunch during our visit. The service and the setting were lovely, but unfortunately, the food was quite bland and dry. I've been here often and truly appreciate the beautiful scenery. We always stop by to see the solitary swan at the pond; he seems so lonely since he lost his mate a few years ago.

What a beautiful, remote location! Very busy weekends; be ready! Come early or bring chairs when you come late. Bands, event rooms, court games, many foods and drinks options. Great service, considering how busy. Kudos to the waiting staff!!

We love this place!!! We had a bridal shower for my sister here back in September 2020. the staff and event coordinator were so helpful with all my questions. They made sure our group was accommodated for and went above and beyond! They made sure everyone was socially distanced and wearing masks! Everything was so wonderful we went back in October for her Bachelorette party and went on the wine tour with “Murph”. The wine tour was excellent and very informative! Murph answered all of our questions and helped us understand the wonders of wine making! I 10/10 recommend this place for any event.
