Ca's Patro March, Cala Deia

This five-generation, god-kissed family needs only to understand and express gratitude for their good fortune. Instead, while spending each day in this idyllic place, their dull eyes and lack of smiles make you aware that they’ve all done this forever and you’re the zillionth to hike in to this impossibly heavenly place that their great great grandfather had the foresight to initiate. If none of this matters to you—as, actually, it didn’t to me; I’m now old and bold enough to engage them until they share their story and a smile—then you’re in for the dinner ambiance of a lifetime. Get that day’s catch; they know how to cook it, even if it comes with (admittedly fairly good) fries, if u can believe it. While the prices are reasonable, given what and where this is, it takes courage to charge €35 a plate and give some of its real estate to a McDonald’s standard. Your vegetarian friends will get a choice of exactly one protein-free dish, but it’s a yummy quinoa bowl. Splurge on a bottle of wine and skip the watered down sangria, it’s actually terrible. The espresso was good and the desert sampler was exceptional. And, of course, hike down and back and include the after-lunch side-trip to Torre de sa Pedrissa. Unforgettable!

Didn’t read the reviews to understand if the 4 stars are justified, but I would give Ca’s Patró March 5 stars for the perfect location, amazing fish/seafood and efficient and kind service. We arrived too early for lunch but they let us sit and have a drink while we waited and gave us spot on recommendations for food. It’s not cheap, but it’s what I would expect for the location and quality. Thank you!!

Un lugar inigualable……maravilloso…. Idilico….i un restaurante sensacional….. Si no tenemos en cuenta lo mucho que cuesta poder reservar una mesa, la carretera de curvas , lo dificil que es encontrar parking en un minimo espacio, la pequeñisima y la playa de piedras y restos de posidonia seca donde es imposible poner la toalla. Repetiremos en epoca que no sea de vacaciones. La langosta con patatas, cebolla y huevos fritos para dos personas)es una delicia para el paladar y la vista. 140€ con bebida y postres).

Espectacular ubicación del restaurante, justo encima del mar en una cala muy especial. buena comida y buen servicio, aunque el precio fue un poco alto
