Jimmy O's - DEL MAR

I wasn't here in a while, but last time I was here a few years ago, it was nothing but old creepy guys. This time was all age, packed, everybody dances! So much fun... just wish this place was bigger because it was shoulder to shoulder. You should remember to open the front entrance to more floor space!! One of the only places to dance in Del Mar, so it was fun!

Jimmy O's is a great place that is a big hit with the Del Mar Heights Dads Club. I had a number of courts here over the years and as far as Bar Essen goes, the place is top Notch. I usually order wings, they change flavors from time to time, but every time my food was perfect. I was a bit sad to see that the Blackened Wings pulled out of the menu, but I think that court is hard to manage for the great influx of pallets that come out and out of Jimmy Os. Now for the more important things, a part of what makes this place great is the great staff. Jenna is as good as it gets, you won't be a similar service anywhere else... Always smiling, an incredible memory, and her nice demon only makes this place worth it. The food from my last visit was so good that my mouth is thinking about the wings. So, lets guess: Honey Sriracha Wings 5/5 Blackened Wings 5/5 (no longer available) Ice cold beer 5/5 service 5/5 They no longer serve my previous favorite West Coast IPA from Green Flash Brewery, but the Elysian Space Dust IPA, which replaces it is quite good, highly recommended.

So glad we passed dinner and watch the game. The bartenders were very welcoming and made the best cocktails we had in the city, while the salad and mushroom philly (both vegetarian options) were also excellent. This was a highlight in our holiday and we look forward to the return!

The bartenders were very friendly, and the music was fun to dance. They even gave me a new drink called Strawberry Daze.

Excellent atmosphere and BBQ. Great bartender served me a couple of well made cocktails and BBQ tri-tip with Texas toast. They have a Cajun portion of their menu that I haven't had a chance to try yet!
