I ordered the sweet Carolina sandwich with okra. The sandwich was good. The okra was good. I enjoyed my lunch.

The food was excellent, and the staff were polite and knowledgeable about the menu. We had a family reunion with 11 people and had called a week in advance to inform them of our visit. Everyone enjoyed their meals, which were prepared to perfection. We felt relaxed and unrushed throughout our time there. Overall, it was a wonderful experience for everyone.

The food at this location has always been excellent. I ordered the Sliced Pork Dinner with an extra slice of Garlic Toast and a double order of extra crispy fries. Everything came out exactly as I requested. The meat was a bit thick, but it was still tender and juicy. I usually end up making a sandwich with it, anyway.

The meat was absolutely delicious, and our server, Jessica M., was incredibly attentive and friendly. I used to frequent Sonny's when I lived here thirty years ago, so I was thrilled to return. Their garlic bread tastes exactly as I remembered. I was also glad to find that I could buy some of their BBQ sauce for $4.25 a bottle—perfect for Christmas gifts!
