Upon entering the restaurant, I was a bit hesitant since I was the only customer there. However, the location, although central, is slightly tucked away from the main route.
We drove out here from Hanna. The restaurant is cosy and quaint. The food is all homemade. We enjoyed our meal. If you want a piece of homemade pie or homemade cheese cake, it is DELICIOUS. Also, Delia is a hamlet and we enjoyed walking around there after our meal. There isn't a ton to see but it fun if you want to explore for awhile.
Located between Drumheller and Hanna on Highway 9, the hamlet of Delia is a pretty place, with wide streets and a couple of interesting things to see. The real gem, though, is the Mother Mountain Tea House
What a treat to have this wonderful little spot in a small place like Delia! Such a real treat! The food is absolutely delicious. Fresh and Home made with loving care for sure! And the most charming spot with excellent service and a charming host to chat with!
