The food was so good. The server was very friendly and let my daughter laugh!
I shared a memory of this place from the 1970s with my husband and am so surprised and happy that it is still there! It was called the spaghetti house. A wonderful couple had it. Lou? If someone remembers their names, I would like to know! They always stopped at our table to chat. I would think her incredible homemade spaghetti meatballs for a few dollars and a 10 inch ice cream sundae in a parfait glass with whipped cream and cherries for me $2! I would like to know the history of this place, especially the names of the original owner. He was very alive and she was beautiful, charming and formal. We felt like family, they were so nice. Do you have any pictures of them and/or what it looks like inside?
My Hubby had the homemade spaghetti and loved it! I had the Auberginenparmesan and it was probably the best I ever had! The eggplant was cut thin and fried for crispy perfection. Both dishes were very generous potions, no way to let you famine there!! This will certainly be a regular visit for us. I hope next time we go our favorite waitress will be there, but she was also great!
Had a wonderful meal here, our waitress was the best! Her recommendations on the menu were spot on! we loved everything And after having total waste of an hour visiting Penn Highway market place.
