Gary Rack's Farmhouse Kitchen

We've now visited this restaurant four or five times now. So we must like it. Seems casual, which we like. I'm not sure how to put my finger it, but everyone seems to be simply going through the motions. No real effort is being made. We're typically happy with our food choices, but this last time, I tried the chicken and dumplings. It was not what I'm used to, and I was kind of surprised that this dish is even on the menu. Personally, I'd rework this dish or remove it from the menu. Overall, it's not bad, but not great either. Perhaps the staff needs to be motivated some.

Sarah our server was so helpful. I have celiac and she made sure my food was prepared safely and walked me through my gluten free and dairy free options. Food was great too! Gluten free items are marked on menu.
