The best ice cream in Florida!! You definitely need to get the waffle cone which is made fresh daily. At times there is a wait but it is totally worth it !!!

The ice cream is fantastic but the employees attitude is horrific. They're too worried about what each other is doing in their social life, took us a while before we even more waited on while they banter back-and-forth. So this is the new age of customer service.

I can honestly say that I’ve had the best ice cream ever! The butter pecan and chocolate peanut butter flavors, both homemade, are absolutely amazing!

In the opposite sense, you might as well pray! The aroma of this place makes you want to order everything on the menu. They serve generous portions, which is fantastic—no complaints at all! I ordered a vanilla cone topped with chocolate and rainbow sprinkles, along with some vanilla ice cream sprinkled with more rainbow sprinkles. It was a simple choice, but absolutely delicious; I devoured it all! The sweet treats were irresistible, and I couldn't take my eyes off them. This ice cream shop is so delightful, and the staff is incredibly kind.

The interior of Kilwin's is inviting, featuring preparation stations for all the delicious confections, with a delightful ice cream counter on the left and an array of chocolates on the right. I also appreciate how clean the shop is, which has a nostalgic, old-school feel. My favorite item here has to be their ice cream, which is homemade and of excellent quality. While it may seem simple, their vanilla ice cream is sweet and creamy. I also enjoy their chocolate ice cream, which is rich, sweet, and has a bit of a bold flavor. Their Mackinac Island fudge ice cream is fantastic, blending creamy vanilla with velvety fudge. Additionally, I love their sweet and creamy strawberry cream, which is loaded with strawberry pieces, and their tart Traverse City cherry, which features chunks of cherries that enhance the freshness of the ice cream. Their toasted coconut is another favorite of mine, offering a fruity and refreshing experience with hints of roasted coconut that provide a delightful tropical taste! Unfortunately, one of my previous favorites, the banana fudge pie, is no longer available. Lately, it has become difficult for me to choose a favorite flavor, as each one is amazing in its own right, and I often feel inspired to try something different based on my mood. I typically get two scoops when I visit, but the generous portions are more akin to three scoops. In terms of pricing, I usually pay around $7, which is comparable to other places on the avenue, like Sloan's (where I can't eat their ice cream due to an ice allergy since most of their flavors contain eggs), as well as Haagen-Dazs and others. However, the top-notch quality and generous portions really make it worth the price! I also enjoy the handmade chocolates sold here, which are equally delightful. If the exquisite sweets weren’t enough, another favorite aspect of Kilwin's in Delray is their fantastic customer service! During my last visit, I was helped by the owners Allison and Bill, as well as Laurie, Erica, Blake, Sean, and several others whose names I can’t recall at the moment. They always take great care of me and my family, including my mom and friends. The staff here are friendly, dedicated, knowledgeable, and they know how to provide service with warmth and efficiency! I also appreciate that the employees always go the extra mile; today, for example, Erica held the door open for an elderly gentleman, which was a small yet thoughtful gesture. Everyone treats me like an old friend rather than just another customer. In addition to the scrumptious treats, the inviting atmosphere, and the exceptional service, a nice bonus is that they often play classic ’70s rock music, which I love! All in all, the amazing sweets, welcoming ambiance, and fantastic customer service have kept me loyal to Kilwin's all these years, and I always look forward to my visits. Bon appétit!
