Good Eats Diner - Deltona

I had a disappointing experience at Sa. Two waiters ignored me for quite some time, and when I finally called one over to let her know I was leaving, the blonde waitress just walked toward the door. I really should have just left at that point. I won't be returning.

This charming little hole-in-the-wall restaurant is a fantastic spot to eat! The French toast is delicious! The staff is friendly and welcoming too!

The food was disappointing. The French toast was nothing more than soggy white bread. The entire place felt sticky and unclean. The kitchen looked like it could easily be featured on a cooking show for unsanitary conditions. The waitress forgot parts of our order and then blamed the chefs. I’ll admit the housewives seemed a bit sharp, which was okay, but overall, you really do get what you pay for.

We just moved to the area and we love mom and pop breakfast spots. That's great. Super friendly staff who loved our 11-month son, very nice males from the area and food that was very good for what she was? I'll pay. That's exactly what we were looking for, and we're gonna be regular.

I do not know if this place changed management but we went Saturday morning and what a disappointment. My club sandwich was burnt, the turkey it was literally one slice, no bacon and the chunks of lettuce were chopped, like someone did it in a rush and they just cut squares just to have the work done. My husband asked for a western omelet, and not only was cold it has nothing appealing. His toasts were soggy and burnt as well. I was looking at other tables and I was noticing them commenting about their food too. Some people ordered some sorts of breakfast burritos and the look on their faces were speaking, no words needed. They were so small and wrongly wrapped that you could finish them with two bites. The only hot thing was the coffee. I sponsor small business, but if they keep doing the food as they are; they are not going to go far, and it will be sad. As far as me, I will not go again. The bill was $23 dollars, and please tell me if the ticket versus the food would be a fair price.
