Fun, hopping, and busy place. Long bar with a wall of taps and you can eat at the bar. In season, you want reservations or you will have a very long wait. The food was quite good. Their specialty is Wood Stone Brick Oven Pizzas. We had the Vegan Prospector: red sauce, vegan pepperoni, vegan sausage, mushrooms, green peppers, onions, Mama Kil's peppers and vegan mozzarella, and the Baked Tomato Sous... Housemade tomato soup, herb croutons, and pepperoni, topped with a generous portion of mozzarella and provolone cheese. We would definitely return
This place is solid and a great option after a long day of hiking or whatever else better than average pizza, great beer and custom made soda selection and the interior is kind of a fun mess of photos, hanging animal hides and antlers ... we enjoyed our dinner and the atmosphere!
What a fun surprise! This was recommended to us by a local and did not disappoint. It was very busy but we did not have to wait long to be seated. We ordered salads and pizza. Both were very good. But the decor was so fun! We had a bit of a wait for our pizza but in the meantime we got to view the many, many Alaskan photos hung everywhere. I would definitely return!
ACTUALLY VISITED JUNE 2019. However, my review was sitting in DRAFTS rather than being posted. My mistake, I guess, but since I took the time to write a review after visiting, I wanted to post it anyway. Here is what I wrote at the time of my visit: There are not a great many restaurants in this area, and a number of the ones here do not get good reviews. Prospectors Pizza did get good reviews so we went there. We agree ...it was a good spot. We had good service and good food for a pretty reasonable price.
