229 Parks - Denali National Park

Be sure to make reservations! As of the end of August when I'm writing this, they are only open from Friday to Sunday and tend to get fully booked. Overall, a wonderful experience.

Getting a reservation at this restaurant can be quite challenging; you'll need to call at least two weeks in advance. However, the staff was very accommodating and managed to fit us in despite being short-handed. The food was exceptional, making this a great discovery in such a remote location. They offer many delicious vegetarian options, and the desserts are simply fantastic! Additionally, there's a neat connection to our hometown of Huntsville, AL, as the chef at 1892 has previously worked here.

This is a very elegant restaurant with James Beard award-winning cuisine. There may be some delays between courses, but you are informed about that in advance. I really enjoyed the Beef Tenderloin and the Key Lime Tart. The wine selection is excellent; I chose a Cabernet.
