During our visit, we enjoyed breakfast at Denali Creekside twice. The service was welcoming, the atmosphere was cozy, the food was delectable, and the portions were generous. Our group consisted of omnivores, vegetarians, and vegans. The only fully vegan options available were housemade oat flakes with the option to add nuts and fruits, along with plant-based milk. While more vegan choices would be appreciated, this is a common issue across restaurants in Alaska. It is encouraging to see more eateries offering vegan options. This is a step in the right direction!
Located on the park road about 8 miles south of the park entrance, this restaurant is situated in a beautiful and comfortable setting. It features a small dining area and a lovely dining terrace. During my visit for dinner, I tried the vegan version of the Thai salad, which was excellent and highly recommended. I also sampled the Beet Veggie Burger without aioli, which was good but not as impressive (the burger lacked flavor and had a pasty texture). Despite this, the overall quality of the food and dining experience was excellent, especially considering the limited vegan options in the area. It's worth noting that while the restaurant also serves as a café and bakery, none of the delicious baked goods were vegan.
I love you. fantastic people and fast service. highly recommended
This is a fun place, we have a video with mr and mrs. santa claus for our grandchildren.
We loved our visit. we were in a hut at the bach. it is a beautiful place. there is one if I would suggest it. blackout curtains that completely cover windows for the sunny summer nights. the caffeine on the eyes was phenomenal. they baked their own broth, they bake homemade desserts. every meal we eat there were 5 stars. also the staff was excellent.
