Really lovely welcome food was fantastic we had a mixture of meals all seemed home cooked and served with a smile only small niggle there was children running round bumping our seats whilst eating. These where the owners I believe but you want to enjoy your meal not be bumped as your taking in a fork full and having it knocked back to the plate.
Popped in after been too glass place next door. Petrol station next door. Car park. Route 66 cafe is needing TLC in and out. Patio around chairs &tables area needing tlc. Inside toilet. Good choice for foods and specials . Pleasant service. Quick service too table. Looking around sadly its not up too much, mould, damp evidence. Dusty bar area. It has so much potential . Food hot etc no problem there. Will call in again if in area.
We have stopped at the Route 66 cafe three times on our way to and from snowdonia National park . We like to stop at this cafe as it has plenty of room to park with the caravan . The food is vey good and the staff very pleasant . I had Steak Ale pie and enjoyed it . My wife had Scampi and said it was beautiful I know we will be back. Bob Audrey.
Whenever I visit Wales, I always make sure to stop at this cafe. It's conveniently located next to a petrol station and a charming antique shop. The cafe itself is nothing fancy, but the food is delicious and reasonably priced. The service always comes with a smile, which is all you can ask for.
