The Galleon - Denbighshire

I visited this restaurant a few weeks ago but it was closed with no warning. I heard they were undergoing renovations. I went back today, but unfortunately, they were closed again with no notice on the door. Their website and Tripadvisor page both indicated they were open, but this was not the case. I used to enjoy their fish and chips, but I will not be returning. It is disappointing that they did not inform their loyal customers of their closure to prevent wasted trips. This lack of communication is not a good way to keep customers satisfied. I will not be recommending this restaurant in the future.

Beware Long wait for food for walk in people !!!! Unfortunately had to wait over 50 minutes for a small order of food along with other customers saying they had been waiting over 30 mins for walk in order , seem to be more interested in taking phone call orders or deliveroo so no interest in people who taking time to come direct to them , service is disgusting with 0 manners , shouting and bickering to customers along with taking calls in mid way of taking walk in customer orders , very rude , why open for public when only bothered about taking calls ? Warnings should be given to customers of expected waiting times before taking money although can easily go out for a meal to be cooked quicker so if your looking for a take away personally I would advise to avoid this place , first time ever having to wait 50mins for fast food !!! Food on the other hand avoid the chips , undercooked as can see from other reviews, looks down an out place that needs new owner ASAP.

Dropped in for something to tied me over on the way to picking partner up from work, had a long hard day and was staving, decided on a cheese burger, what a mistake!! 3 people handle my food no gloves, burger was black, advertise as salad and relish none, cheese was cold onions raw? No brown sauce!!!!! Customer service was diabolical, obviously I will not be returning

Excellent fish and chip shop, good prices, nice staff. All food is cooked fresh. Thank You very much. Highly recommended.

Excellent food, fish was lovely and chips were taste and staff were very helpful towards my dad Would recommend
