Boat Noodle (ioi City Mall) - Dengkil

Edit: Looking at all the reviews here, so it 's not just me who experienced lack of choices and sub par food quality. Avoid this place until they improve. Not worth the price. Had the sashimi, temaki roll, and edamame. Tasted ok lah. Service was good from the human waiter and robots alike. Waiter attended to my queries with a smile. The robotic tray that delivered the food was interesting. It travelled along the track to my table then repeated please take your food in quick succession until you take your food and press the button. Reminds me of the low level droids from Star Wars. What a time we live in. Anyways the robot had more personality than the cashier at the counter.

Terrible experience at Sushi King IOI City Mall. We came at 7.45PM, and there were little to no sushi left on the conveyor belt. Even if there were, it would only either be inari tofu sushi or very very soggy prawn tempura. Most items on menu are also unavailable, and this was before 8PM. Almost felt like we weren't welcomed to have dinner at this shop. My food came almost 30 mins later but the food served was not even warm. I am a frequent goer to Sushi King, so I know that the prices have increased. But even then, portions keep getting smaller! I paid RM70 for my dinner there, but I got out feeling more hungry than I did coming in! The food I ate that day was not worth my money at all! Anyone coming into the shop, can clearly tell that the shop is short staffed. During Maghrib prayers, there were only 2 staffs on standby meaning they had to juggle cleaning the tables, preparing the food, attending the cashier. Because of that, our orders came very late. Clearly, their management needs to step up their game. Very disappointed with Sushi King, it used to be my favorite place to eat but now that most things are being done half hearted at this shop, I will think twice or maybe even thrice.

There were no much customers and many empty table at that time but i have to wait for almost 20 minutes just to get my seat. Then i pressed the button on the robot. The table was empty and when i decided to sit, one of the staff seem like middle age lady, scolded me and the whole restaurant become quiet. Very embarrassing moment and will not come to this branch again. She might be tired but she has no right to scold me like that. Very rude staff. If you asked me nicely i would just accept it.

Real authentic Peranakan dishes that fulfilled our desire. Service was pretty fast and they even had Cendol-Durian who was so refreshing! Very recommended.

The food was amazing!!! We order sambal udang with petai, kangkung belacan, asam fish, teh tarik dragon fruit juice (the best I had so far). The price was worth everything from the part of the food, restaurant ambience and service. Will definitely go back.
