Sakura Sushi House - Denham Springs

Sakura is a hidden gem in Denham Springs, offering outstanding Japanese cuisine. Their sushi is fantastic, and the teriyaki dinner is equally impressive. The family that runs the restaurant is friendly and welcoming, providing a wonderful culinary experience. Whether I stop by for lunch or dinner, their sushi dinners are so generous that they could easily serve two people.

I absolutely love this place! My little family and I visit at least once a week. We usually order the Steak Hibachi or Chicken Hibachi, and it's always cooked to perfection. We never have to ask for refills because the service is attentive and accommodating. I appreciate that it's a family-owned restaurant, and it's great to see the whole family getting involved. The food consistently earns a 10/10 from us! Additionally, the sushi is always fresh and delicious.

When it was dinner time, we all agreed (including two babies in our party of eight) to give this restaurant a shot. We arrived for an early dinner and were surprised to find that we were the only customers. At first, it felt a bit awkward being alone in the restaurant, and I even asked my daughter if we were sure we were in the right place. To start our meal, we ordered some spring rolls and a California roll (sushi). Our dishes came with soup and salad. The soup was delicious, though I wasn't particularly fond of the salad dressing (I prefer my salads without dressing). However, I’m glad I took a photo of my meal! I ordered the Hibachi Steak with fried rice and vegetables, and it was cooked to perfection.

Very good food. We had the MJ Roll, Rock n Roll and Romeo reels and shrimp Lomein. I loved them all. Very cheap. Will definitely be back.

Great atmosphere for groups, couples, and/or individuals. It is a family run business and they truly care for their customers. The sushi is amazing. I sampled at least six different rolls and appetizers. None of them disappointed. I highly recommend making this a stop and treat yourself.
