940's Kitchen Cocktails - Denton

Couldn't try the brussels sprouts that was my only complaint! You all walked out. Big dinner, would have loved another playlist with timeless music, it was a bit dated and cheugy

The restaurant was cute. The food a was a mix. Terrible appetizer options. Unless you like smokey foods or Mac and cheese... Not much to choose from. The main course was actually good... Our waitress was fine, although she could have checked on us more. The bar service was TERRIBLE. It took 45 min to get our first drink. I don't think I'll go back.

We were eager to try the ****** Mary at the restaurant, but were disappointed to find it was tiny. When my husband asked if the corned beef in the Rueben sandwich was house-made, the server confirmed it was, but it turned out to be packaged. Every item we ordered was burnt - my toast, biscuits, and my husband's Rueben. We tried to eat it without complaining, but couldn't, so we sent it back. The server did not apologize and did not offer to take back the uneaten burnt toast or biscuit left on the plate. The biscuits and gravy side was disappointing as well, with only one tiny biscuit and the gravy served in the same tiny holder as my husband's side of ranch. We felt neglected as customers, having to ask for basic items such as salt and pepper and never being offered another drink. Sadly, we will not be returning to this restaurant.

The food was average, not great but not bad. The service was virtually nonexistent and it was very, very noisy. Would never return!

We love coming to 940. Always have great food and service. Highly recommend.
