Candy Haven And Cakes - Denton

We?ve used Candy Haven numerous times in the past and every time it has been amazing! On top of having the most delicious cakes, they do a fabulous job decorating and bringing your vision to life! We used them most recently for our wedding cake and groom?scake, and everyone loved both. Highly recommend!

Just came home from a two week visit in the US. When in Denton, Texas, I visited friends and the owners of Candy Haven. These amazing people showed my family around behind the scens and we got to make our own chocolate dipped strawberries, yummy! Alsotasted some other treats that makes Willie Wonka go pale. These generous small business owners have the biggest heart and mademe and my family feel so welcome. The care and hospitality is also shown in the wonderful craftsmanship in everything theymake. If you are in Denton, make sure to step in and say Hi from the humble and grateful Swedes.

Cookies were out of this world good! The iced one had to be the best iced sugar cookie I have ever hard. The cookie cake was super moist and delicious. Most definitely coming back for my baking needs!

Candy Haven!! Wow the customer service here is absolutely amazing. I order our company cakes from here many times a year, they are always so fast and produce great tasting cake. This time, I had a very detailed cake in mind and Taylor and Alixx wereincredibly helpful. Alixx gave me ideas and pointed me in the right direction to make a personalized cake topper and she addedthe over the top beautiful flowers. It was put together perfectly. Everyone was in shock at how amazing it looked. Thecommunication is always on point and the entire staff has an incredibly positive attitude.

Getting my birthday cake from Candy Haven was pretty disappointing. I called and asked them if they did korean style cakes and they told me to email them with my request, that 's fine! I emailed them not one, not two, but three reference photos and a detailed description of what I wanted (purple icing with white borders, a character on top, sprinkles instead of flowers . They emailed back with a zoomed in picture of one of the reference cakes and said they could do it. Kind of weird to zoom in on that one cake, but alright.When my boyfriend went to pick up the cake, wouldn 't you know it! They replicated the exact image they zoomed in on. The character was wrong, I never asked for a frog. The cake didn 't have raspberry filling in it. It was quite literally not what I asked for. Not to mention they wrote the wrong thing. The cake was adorable, I 'll give two stars for that. But just, completely wrong. The taste was also mediocre, not really worth the cost. I would 've provided them with more info and maybe even a sketch if they needed it, no problem!!! : sad this didnt work out. Edit: I called to let them know about the design on my cake. They offered a small refund but I am appreciative of their cooperation and willingness to fix their mistakes.
