Anise Modern Vietnamese Eatery - Denver

The meal was delicious. There were 14 of us in our party and we were well taken care of. It would be helpful to have pictures of menu items for a better understanding since it was our first time. The portions of food were huge!

The dining experience was great until a woman emerged from the kitchen yelling at a waitress. Additionally, the owner, or who I assumed to be the owner, was seated in a corner speaking loudly on his phone. It is unfortunate as the food was really delicious; this restaurant has the potential to be much better.

Have dined at Anise before, but my recent experience was disappointing. The noodles were clumped together and appeared stale, and the overall cost of the meal was higher than what I had remembered.

The food was just okay . It was more expensive than other Vietnamese restaurants we 've dined in and not worth the extra money . The lemongrass pork bun didn 't have lemongrass flavor and the grilled pork platter was acceptable but nothing special. None in our party liked their special beef spring rolls and the tofu items were lacking. I would not return

Five friends and dinner together and we all enjoyed our food. Some rice crepes, curry dish, lemongrass rice noodle bowl and shared spring rolls. Everything was seasoned well and ample enough for leftovers. The service was friendly, prompt and we all felt that the staff or owners cared about our experience. It was not very busy at 6 on a Saturday night so it was very quiet and a great atmosphere for a dinner with good friends. We will be back
