It is a simple, healthy, and filling meal consisting of white rice (or Romaine), seasoned black beans, onions, cucumbers, tomatoes, avocados, lime wedge, and cilantro. I'm not a fan of avocados, so I asked for extra cucumbers instead and they were able to accommodate my request, although they did forget the lime wedge. I placed a pick-up order and it was done quickly. The food at Coco Loco is consistent, fresh, and a great alternative to fast food. It's a safe option for vegans as well, as the vanilla in the smoothies is vanilla extract, not a non-vegan protein.
My friend and I stopped here on our way to the dog park. We both tried the smoothies and found them to be absolutely delicious. The owner of the restaurant is very friendly and welcoming!
Coco Loco is a delightful and convenient restaurant that I always visit when in Denver. During my latest visit, I opted for my usual vegan bowl and decided to try a new smoothie called the Fuzzy Dragon for $7.75. This smoothie is a blend of Dragonfruit and Peach with Fresh Orange Juice, Coconut Milk, Vanilla, Ice Agave (or Turbinado, Honey). It was tasty, although not my favorite. The vegan bowl, priced at $6.25, is a simple, healthy, and satisfying dish consisting of White Rice (or Romaine), Seasoned Black Beans, Onions, Cucumbers, Tomatoes, Avocados (which I substituted with extra cucumbers), Lime wedge, and Cilantro. Despite forgetting my lime wedge, the restaurant quickly prepared my order for pickup. Coco Loco is consistently delicious, fresh, and a great alternative to fast food. I will definitely return. And for those curious, the vanilla used in the smoothies is vanilla extract, not non-vegan protein.
My girlfriend and I stopped at this restaurant on our way to the dog park. We both had smoothies and they were both delicious. The owner of the place is very friendly and kind.
