They have plenty of room for outdoor seating, but the weather wasn’t good, so indoor was the only option for me.I chose vegetarian options but they have plenty of meat dishes. I had a veggie empanada to start and the vegetarian Bandeja as my main dish. I enjoyed both. There is a 18% gratuity added to the bill and they encourage the use of QR codes for the menu and to pay.
Food is ok. A little tasteless. Place is nice. Great service. but they added the tip, charged me for a small piece of lime, charged me for a little bit of dressing, and kinda bothered me. I believe they should just let people tip as they wish. Some of us can tip 100%, some others don’t tip at all and who cares as it’s their business. There are definitely better Colombian restaurants in town and being charged for all of this and in top adding 18% to my ticket, well, I’d rather go to another place where the service is as good, the place is nice and the food is way better. Trust me, I’ve been to those places on east Colfax and they’re way better. The reason why I didn’t go? Because they were closed today and my wife wanted Colombian food. But I won’t be coming back if I have a better alternative.
This place is fantastic! The owner personally came out to check on us and see how we enjoyed her food. You can tell the dishes are made with love. As a first-time experience with Colombian cuisine, I found it to be uniquely delicious with an outstanding presentation—definitely a treat for food lovers. The passion fruit tea was out of this world! The food is not only flavorful but also well-seasoned and perfectly portioned. The atmosphere is vibrant and welcoming, making for a friendly and enjoyable dining experience. Highly recommend!
A fantastic choice for anyone who enjoys authentic Colombian cuisine. The image features their famous “Guava Bread Pudding.” The artist behind this is Gabriela.
I absolutely love dining at this restaurant! The authentic Colombian flavors are outstanding. I highly recommend the "calentado," which includes beans, rice, chicken, avocado, and an egg. The other dish I tried was "sobrebarriga." Since it was my birthday, they surprised me with a delightful guava dessert. Gisselle, our server, deserves a five-star rating—she's the best waitress ever! She was patient and always greeted us with a smile. The service on Saturday afternoon was quick, and I really enjoy their natural juices. While there's no dedicated parking lot, finding street parking on Broadway, just a block away from the restaurant, was easy. Overall, I give it five stars. Thank you, Gisselle, for your attentive service and for the delicious guava dessert—I loved it!
