I enjoyed maybe 2 of the dishes and the flavor didn't really hit with the main courses. The pork with peanuts just ruined the taste. The sun fish lacked flavor. It was simple and the taste wasn't there for the price. What really hit was the deserts. They felt more professional and the flavor was unique. The portions also left a lot to desire. I mean just a little more couldnt hurt and might have made up for lack of flavor. The small potato with butter and paprika at the beginning we all thought we were being pranked. It just tasted like a potato with paprika on it. Very confused and out of place. Again this was 135$ with 22% tip. We had mixed drinks and I tried 3 of them, all below standard quality. Stick with wine. I think this meal was probably 85$ with 22%. The flavor just didn't take you anywhere. Probably was a bad idea to do the tasting menu
Very deceptive pricing, be warned the hospitality fee is NOT included in the price as advertised but added on afterwards at 22%. While I have no problem tipping this amount, the fact they were dishonest about it being included left a bad taste in my mouth. I wanted to like this place, but was utterly disappointed. The food was just personally not to my liking and for the blind tasting menu they barely asked how I liked the food. The one time they did and I said it wasn’t to my liking, they did not seem to care. Highly advise going somewhere else if looking for a nice meal out.
To be honest I was incredibly disappointed! The service was good but the food was extremely underwhelming. I took my wife for her birthday expecting a romantic and delicious experience. Unfortunately we didn 't get either. To start the music was extremely loud and the tables were so close to the other tables. Normally this wouldn 't be an issue but the music was so loud we couldn 't have a conversation without speaking very loudly which made it feel like we were including the other diners that were literally a foot away, plus this was not the type of music you would expect in an upscale restaurant. When we got our appetizers (lobster Mac n Cheese) it was served cold, under seasoned and the lobster was overcooked. We then get our main course (Beef wellington) and that was incredibly overseased. Not the type of food and execution you would expect when paying over 100.00 per person with a 22% gratuity. Overall I would not recommend this restaurant.
I can't say enough good things about our culinary experience. The food was absolutely phenomenal and the service was beyond and beyond. We will definitely return when this whole quarantine thing is over!
We consider this to be the best restaurant in Denver. Each article was exceptional from appetizers and salads to appetizers and desserts. Service is also exceptional
