From the moment I stepped through the charming entrance, I knew I was in for a treat. The food was amazing!Food: 5/5
My first time eating here. The food was amazing and the staff was very helpful and able to recommend exactly what I wanted. I can't wait to visit again. Will defiantly make a stop!
It’s the first place I beg one of many friends who volunteer to pick me up from the airport to immediately take me to the second I land in Denver!Lo Stella’s staff and food experience are a huge part of why I love Denver as much as I do. I think about the traditional Bolognese dish on a weekly basis and if I could have it shipped and delivered to my home in Cleveland Ohio, I would. The menu has both a mix of creative, modern dishes and the best, classic Italian dishes we all crave. The fresh, imported ingredients from Italy that inspire the dishes are so noticeably special and Chef Lepage puts so much thought into every plate. As someone who’s very fortunate to have eaten at many restaurants all over the world, this stands to be top 3. In fact, eating at the original location that the family still owns and operates in Italy will forever be on my bucket list until it happens. Can’t say enough about this wholesome restaurant and it’s authentic food, chefs and staff!
Lo Stella is my go to restaurant anytime my husband and I crave real italian food. Fresh and healthy. The whole staff is so welcoming and friendly. You really feel like you are part of an italian family. We truly enjoy sitting by the kitchen and observing the chef preparing our fresh dishes.Last time we shared a bottle of Super Toscana and caprese salad as an appetizer followed by fish ravioli. Extremely delicate yet rich in flavor. My husband had the Spaghetti Nonno Puppo. Very simple but so scrumptious. We didn't have room for dessert but we got to meet Luca the manager, who kindly offered us some grappa and chat with us about food, wine and the italian culture.Excellent !!
Service was inattentive and the atmosphere was okay. My wife and I got the wild boar pasta and both ended up very sick with food poisoning. Very overpriced for the small portions they give you. My wife and I both had explosive diarrhea for a week after eating here. Went to the doctor and it turns out that it was parasites from improperly handled pork. Will NOT be going back.
