Slices Pizza - Denver

I have driven past this restaurant for years and never knew how to access it until now. I asked the owner to surprise me and he gave me a slice of meat lover pizza and a slice of Mediterranean pizza, both of which were delicious. He even gave me a free cake ball in case I didn't like his choices. The New York-style pizza was thin and arguably the best I've ever had. Unlike big chain pizzas that are greasy and tasteless, this pizza was not greasy at all and had a crispy crust that added to its flavor. The sauce was perfectly balanced, not overly sweet, and the toppings were cooked to perfection. Getting two slices of pizza and a drink for under seven dollars was a great deal, especially since this side of the city was lacking such affordable and tasty options. The cake ball was also worth trying, as it was moist, rich, and had a perfect balance of cake and frosting. I will definitely be returning to this restaurant in the future.

Today, I went on a quest for a simple cheese pizza and traveled quite a distance to try one from this place. I was not disappointed; the pizza was exactly what I had been craving. It was a thin New York style pizza with delicious cheese and sauce. However, I must mention that their website needs some serious updating. It is not user-friendly and does not allow for online ordering or delivery through services like DoorDash or Uber Eats, which could be a missed opportunity for them. If the owner is reading this, I suggest looking into creating a professional website using a plugin called Divi. Despite the website issues, the pizza was fantastic. Thank you for a great meal!

The pizza was fresh and delicious. The staff member in the front was friendly. The bacon was perfectly crispy. The only downside was that they do not provide cheese or pepper flakes in packets; you have to pay extra for a small jar. It was a bit strange, but overall the food was excellent.

I used to frequently order pizza from this Domino's location, but after a series of incidents, the most recent one was the worst. I placed an online order for pizza at 8 am with the expectation of receiving it by 11:10 am at the latest. However, the pizza did not arrive until 12:15 pm, over an hour late. I spoke to the manager, who promised to refund my payment. When I later checked my bank account and found no refund, I brought it up to him. He raised his voice at me and refused to provide me with his corporate contact details, telling me to find them myself. This behavior was unprofessional and lacking in customer service. It's clear that he is not fit to be a store manager. I will not be ordering pizza from this Domino's again and I caution others to beware of this manager.

I have a high standard for pizza, and slices is my absolute favorite place to grab a quick slice for lunch or dinner near DTC! Recommend the bacon and feta pizza! Super friendly owner and staff too!Food: 5/5
