Smokin Yard's Bbq - Denver

They offer three different BBQ sauces and four varieties of Merf's hot sauces! I enjoyed all of them, but my favorite was the house Chipotle BBQ sauce. The Merf's guajillo hot sauce was incredibly spicy! The atmosphere was lively and the staff were very friendly. Be sure to arrive early, as parking is limited and tends to fill up quickly. The seating inside is also limited, so if it's busy outside, expect the same inside!

I didn't notice any of those award-winning BBQ trophies on display at this restaurant, and now I understand why. The baby back ribs were dry, the pulled pork lacked flavor and was also dry, and the brisket was merely average. You won't be in awe of the barbecue here. The highlight of our meal was the cream corn side dish; it was the best thing on the menu. Perhaps it was just an off day for the pit master. I hope your experience is better than mine.

I’ve visited this place quite a few times, and it never lets me down. Recently, we were lucky enough to try their special: a Kobe Beef Brisket Sandwich. Wow, just wow! This ranks among the best things I’ve ever tasted. It’s absolutely phenomenal. Hurry and go try it before it’s no longer available. I wish they’d make it a permanent menu item!

I’m from Texas and this is my favorite BBQ in Denver. They serve smoked prime rib on Fridays and Saturdays. Cute patio with string lights above. Best fries in town. Brisket, turkey, chicken, sausage, ribs…It’s all so delicious.

I'm a Texas girl and a bit picky, but I was satisfied!! They even had good sweet tea. ??
