This place is legit. We got dumplings, Dan Dan noodles, salt and pepper shrimp, and Ginger chicken. Everything was delicious. The salt and pepper shrimp is the best I’ve had in the city. The dumplings had so much flavor from the soy sauce mixture, very unique and worth the order. Also, do not sleep on the Dan Dan noodles, noodles were perfectly chewy. Staff was very friendly and the atmosphere was great. I’ll be back often.
A much beloved hole in wall neighborhood favorite, this has been my family's go to order in spot since I was a toddler. I live out of state now but still make a point to grab food from here once whenever I am home. The orange beef, honey walnut prawns, egg drop soup, and sesame scallops are some of our favorite picks.
Great place to eat. Give this place a try. They always make your food fresh! The honey prawns with walnut that I ordered taste very good with very reasonable pricing.
I tried the vegetable egg rolls, scallion pancakes, chicken lo mein, and sesame chicken. The egg rolls and scallion pancakes were excellent—I would definitely order those again! However, the lo mein was pretty average; I’ve had better and probably wouldn’t choose it again. The sesame chicken was quite different from the typical sticky-sweet dish you find elsewhere; it had a tangy, vinegar taste that I found unusual. While the flavor wasn't bad, I didn't enjoy the texture or color, which seems to be a common concern among other reviews. If you decide to order from here, you might want to pass on the breaded chicken dishes for now. (The chicken in the lo mein was perfectly fine, though.) When I compare this place to my favorite spot, it just doesn’t measure up, despite my hopes. I plan to return in the future to try some different dishes and will update my review then.
