But the delicious reminder of Gujarat was just one of the treats in store at this nicely appointed restaurant hidden in Equipetrol about a block off St. Martin... The fish curry was luscious and opulent in flavors right down to the last bit of the accompanying vegetables, the curry was not overwhelming but robust... the almond flavored lamb ordered by my son was agreeably sharp in taste and smooth at once, and we found the chicken biryani nicely intense and aromatic, spicy with a pleasant peppery flavor that transformed the rice though basmati was not available into something rewarding that has you savoring it long after your meal is done. The yougurt with spices was a bit runny, but the whole of the meal more than made up for it. Good naan too, makes a meal at Ambika a lovely evening to remind you of the tastes, fragrances and textures of great Indian food...

Enjoyed the executive menu for 30 Bs today! Tasty, different and moderately priced. Well go back!
