Applebee's Grill - Deptford

We always enjoy happy hour at this restaurant. It's a fantastic and affordable option for date night. Tonight, we celebrated my neighbor's birthday, and it was a lot of fun! The only issue I had was that the chips for the artichoke dip were all broken. Other than that, the food was tasty and satisfying.

If it were my first time dining at Applebee's, I would never return. When we asked to sit at a booth, they did not inquire if a table was necessary. We sat down and Justin became our waiter, who seemed to be a nice guy. We ordered simple drinks - water and coffee. Why did my appetizer, the room temperature spinach and artichoke Caesar salad, arrive before my drinks and silverware? When I requested dressing for my salad, the waitress gave me a confused look as if she had never heard of dressing before. Unfortunately, in my home country, we use forks and spoons, which apparently was a foreign concept to her. Cold appetizers and cold food do not mix well, especially when you have to pay for it. I was politely asked to leave the restaurant. The water refills took 8 minutes to arrive, with the neighboring table even noticing the delay. We were informed that they were washing the cups, which took an absurdly long amount of time. Do better, Applebee's! Perhaps take a cue from Outback Steakhouse.

This restaurant experience was absolutely terrible! The waitress was extremely unpleasant, as she had her thumb in each plate she brought out. She even refilled our drinks using a paper cup from the kitchen and asked if we wanted anything, to which we all replied no. She aggressively slammed our plates on the table without any regard. Every time she approached our table, she would play with the crumbs on it before lazily walking away. Her behavior was strange, rude, and careless, and the food was subpar. I hate to write such negative feedback, but I would advise against spending your money at this place.

This place has good food and drinks. they have a list of appetizers at half price of 3-6 pm Sunday Friday; and daily after 9 pm. also they have a happy hour for drinks.

Even though prices have gone up post Covid-19 and with inflation, they still have reasonable prices for food combos and drinks. And everything is pretty tasty too.
