Milk Honey Deli - Derby

Two of us went here for a weekday breakfast. The service was friendly and very good, and the atmosphere was pleasant. The breakfast menu is limited but ample. Overall the food was good but we were both disappointed that the yolks of our poached eggs were overdone they were set and didn't ooze satisfyingly over out toast. Otherwise good though and they sell very nice looking cheese and cakes to take away.

I visit Milk and Honey often. I work on Sadler Gate and love my food and like to support local independent businesses as much as possible. Coffee here is fantastic. The paninis are outstanding, good price with lovely fresh, good quality ingredients. The deli counter always has tasty treats and the cakes are all beautiful looking and tasting. Aside from buying fresh food there are lots of goodies on offer here. The staff are all really friendly and passionate about their food. 100% recommend this lovely deli and cafe.

As a group of 7 we booked for afternoon tea on Saturday afternoon. We had 1 vegan and 2 vegetarian the others were Normal teas. The vegan and vegetarian options were amazing. Staff were attentive and nothing was too much trouble. We had a great afternoon. Thank you Sarah and team.

We came across Milk Honey on a visit to Derby today. What a lovely cafe! I had delicious Broccoli Stilton soup with sourdough bread and my friend enjoyed a scrumptious bagel. We both had coffees and shared a Swedish chocolate and almond cake. The food was fresh, tasty and beautifully presented. The staff were welcoming and friendly. They deli has a wonderful variety of food and gifts. I wish I lived closer so I could visit regularly!
