The Mallard Beefeater - Derby

Although all other drinks are priced up why are there no prices for draught beers and ciders on the drinks menu? A suspicion of price manipulation methinks.

Good food. Excellent service. Hannah really looked after us. Served quickly and took the time to check we were OK. Partner had a steak and it was cooked perfectly.

Kim and Dee at The Mallard are exceptional hosts. They are friendly, efficient , very customer focused and lovely people. By being ready to serve and pleasing you feel very relaxed to enjoy a lovely meal . The food was hot, appetising , tasty and plentiful. The fish was particularly white and hot....beauty. Both Kim and Dee are obviously highly trained to customer perception and respond positively and upbeat. Both smile and converse with customers which is both welcoming and great to see. Beefeater should appreciate Kim and Dee because they are worth their weight in gold. Dee has a very handsome smile and Kim has a beautiful smile. Well done guys, you were mint

Don’t usually review places however saw someone moaning about something being empty… We come here for breakfast as a family of 4 once or twice a month, some days are like today where they were rushed off their feet. Every single employee needs a special mention that was working the breakfast shift on February 4th. They were all on top form constantly rushing about keeping things full. Yes they ran out of things however they were instantly on the case to fill it up. No request is ever too much. My daughter always asks for her pancakes heated in the microwave and even though the staff were all busy a young woman took care of this request quickly and made her feel happy. Cannot thank you all enough for all your hard work each and every time we visit. Wouldn’t go anywhere else for our Sunday morning breakfast treats!! Keep up all your hard work :

Lovely meal of Steak. Served by Hannah who was excellent. She helped out with my Coeliac menu and was very attentive to my needs. I would highly recommend The Mallard.
