Was I dreaming? We ordered the Sunday midday special and it was delightful! The meat had a lovely crust, and the boiled ham was juicy and so enjoyable. I absolutely love Yorkshire puddings and usually have three or four, but the one I had was so large that it was more than enough. The vegetables were interesting, especially the runner beans which were still in their pods—typical of Chef Liam Holmes' style. After our meal, we both felt we needed a little more, so we opted for chocolate brownie with ice cream. The brownie was moist yet firm, and the ice cream melted nicely, creating a delicious combination. If I could give six stars, I absolutely would, because the meal was just that amazing!

Came here after it was recommended by a workmate. excellent eating and also excellent service, staff were very helpful and polite and nothing was much annoyed. will definitely be back and would recommend everyone. keeps the good work youngs, cheers

Fantastic newly renovated pub! It has a warm and welcoming atmosphere, making it a wonderful place to visit. The food was top-notch, and both the meals and drinks are very affordable! I will definitely be back!

Four of us dined at the pub last night, and I must say, I was pleasantly surprised. After my disappointing experience during my last visit at Christmas, I found the pub to have a new vibe, tastefully refurbished with a cozy atmosphere. We all enjoyed our meals, and my chicken supreme was especially delicious and beautifully cooked. The baked Camembert starter was generously portioned, and we were happy we chose to share it. I'm so glad to discover a wonderful pub that we hope to make our local spot.
