Great meal, it was busy, but the staff stayed on things. Eating is always up and good value, also had a 20% code.

We went to this restaurant for Christmas dinner. When we made the reservation, we weren't given the option to choose between a festive or regular menu. When we arrived, we noticed that other tables had crackers on them except for ours. Even though we didn't choose the festive menu, it would have been nice to have some festive touches like the other tables. The food was good but it was only warm, which was disappointing. There were many choices on the menu, and we would consider coming back on a Sunday for their lamb special.

So hard to blame Toby's. They offer hearty food at a great price and this toby is no exception. Who could ever tire a good roast dinner. Very friendly staff and good food. Visit when you are in the area.

Succulent meat as always but veg although plentiful was a little less than tasty. The standout item was the mash which was heavenly. A little different to some of the other Toby's we've visited as this seemed to function both as a pub with almost as many people just drinking . Not so heavy on the halogen lights which meant we could eat in relative comfort
