Mexi-kan Kitchen - Derby

Great place to eat! We really like it not the typical local restaurant vibe. You know the 'hole in the wall, a little dark, shift worker' Vibe. This was our first visit and we enjoyed it very much. The menu was much to take, so many options and everything was described. We chose some specials they were advertising. The puffy taco combo and the fish taco combo were great. We also used the $5 Quesadilla Monday deal for the children, a full-sized Burrito Tortilla cut into wedges was fantastic for them, even some remains. I wish I had made pictures of the food because it looked great! Next time!

It was pretty good and cheap. You have daily specialties and the thru drive is open up to 2AM. Her Verde sauce was delicious and it wasn't super fat.

Amazing! You get a huge amount of food for quite cheap – this burrito, rice with fried beans, and a big drink was $10. Everything is made fresh, so there is a small wait, but it is worth it! The interior is quite small, but it is very clean and comfortable. The staff is welcoming and they bring your food to you, which is extra beautiful. They also make their own salsa and Guac!

From San Antonio, TX do many trips in the USA and International. The name alone interested me to try and see it. Was warm as soon as I entered, the area was very clean and even the kitchen (reality). I have the #2 puffy taco and street taco (corn tortilla). The puffy/chicken taco was full of chicken, had a good taste and not dry, which was impressed. It was really good. The street taco was Steak and that was also very food. next time wil have my puffy taco with steak and chicken. The chips and queso were good, I mean his much better than the other places, I can say it was good cheese. In everything I was very impressed and it cannot be an authentic Mexican/taqueria. Thelese mexi-kan can make a good taco! The salsa i was impressed, taste and freshness. came here a second time (Tue) and got Steak (1 puffy and two street). As good as the one I got before. They were alittle buy at drive-thru, they still come large ppl.

The puffy tacos are my family’s favorite tacos by far. The employees were super nice and helpful, made us feel very welcome. Manuel was amazing and made sure we were taken care of. Will definitely come back again.
