The Royal Arms - DERBY

Wonderful place! People were really friendly. Everyone would smile at you. I ate for lunch and it really hit the place. Delicious! Thank you, everybody. I wish you a pleasant day.

At the first visit of this pub, as we were looking for somewhere to eat on Saturday night after a day was spent in the area. The staff could not have been more friendly and welcoming when we settled down to the back bar on the side of the magnificent log fire. You have a good selection of drinks, and the wines we have chosen make the place perfect. The menu offered a standard perfume, along with a variety of more unusual, homemade meals. The meat, in particular, is made by a small local butcher, and if my meal is any hint, the quality is excellent. Even the slight delay in serving one of our parties was handled so well by the employees that they could not even distract the experience at all. The evening was rounded off by a live singer who proved to be so entertaining that we stayed far longer than we intended. All in all, this is a beautiful pub, and we will definitely make a return visit. Well done to all employees and management (and customers) of the Royal Arms; thank you!

A warm and friendly greeting at this local pub. General portions of Sunday roast (and the children served), and a pool table. What is not to like?

Food was amazing as many good flavors and portions, quality and value for money is amazing, the service was also so friendly welcoming and so helpful would recommend

Took a Ramblers group here for Sunday lunch, excellent food, service price counted 9 different vegetables on my plate! Definitely recommended, thanks will come again
