The Lathkil - Derbyshire Dales

We visited as part of a tour checking out several historic pubs in Derbyshire and it was nice to visit the Lathkil and get a feel for the history of the place. After a blistering hot walk as hot in Peaks as south of France today the Lathkil was perfect. Shade. An excellent BLT. Pint of pale ale and lime n soda. Cold water for the dog. Rehydration all round. Lovely. Location: 5

Love the place, didn't stay but did eat outside. Really nice food and friendly bar staff to chat to. Idilic location situated on go of a hill overlooking the lathkill valley which is picturesque.
