Decks Bar And Restaurant - Derry

Both myself and mum went to Solo for an evening meal as part of the Eat out to help out incentive. I ordered a starter of the toasted cheese and I thought ok if the starter is this good we are in for a lovely meal. Mums dish arrived of the baked cod and she really enjoyed it. My main of the 50/50 was disappointing. My steak was over cooked and tbe chicken was tough in places. I didn't realise that each side had to be ordered separately. One of the desserts was apple pie in name only. If you closed your eyes you wouldn't have been able to say what it was. We were charged £35 for the experience. I doubt that I will be back.

Wonderful service, friendly accommodating staff and very good food. Always an enjoyable meal out.

I was pleasantly surprised that Decks was still open after all these years. The meal was very good, and the service was friendly. The chef was also very present, coming to our table to ask if everything was okay.
