Juanita's - Derwood

My husband and I had lunch h here and the food was delicious. Juanita was so friendly and very witty (my husband can be a comedian) and she was time enough for his jokes. Overall I would definitely go back.

Im usually searching for a really awesome pupusa place, but not a fan at all. SUPER salty. There?s too much flower, which makes it more of a tortilla with flavoring. The ?curtido? (i think that?s how you spell it) tastes old. And something about the 12 pupusas also taste old. My family and I couldn?t even finish them and just ordered something else . A waste of my money.

We love Juanita's. My kids love their pupusas and I love the chicken fajita. The chicken burrito is one of my favorites too, it's a hearty burrito that my youngest can't finish. The have other authentic tasty Mexican which is unlike Tex Mex and the Salvadorean food is home style. I will continue to go to Juanita's Restaurant. They are open now for take out so I recommend you try it.
