Feedback gevenFirst bartender was great and she went on break. We asked for ice water twice and a knife to cut a chicken sandwich to half. We didn't come either. We asked to talk to a manager and they didn't even send one. There were many people to serve. Can't use Covid anymore as an excuse. We were very disappointed.
A couple of the bartenders provide very good service, but some of the servers I've had have not been good. Either they forget to bring silverware and napkins, or forget to bring drink or french fry refills. And one guy in particular priorities making the same cheesy joke at every table over being on top of his orders. I don't like that at all. Simply provide great service and that should speak for itself regarding your tip. When you hear the guy make the same joke over and over it really kills any genuine connections that could possibly have been made. Just sayin. Food is always good. Drinks could be better (checking if low on syrup for Coke or Sprite for instance). Service could be more consistent. I frequently see a group of servers chilling out at the pickup orders section talking about their hot dates this past weekend. Pretty inappropriate chatter coming from the employees for the entrance to the restaurant. I'll still keep coming here but will lower my expectations.
We came in yesterday for an early dinner before our flight home. There was no hostess to greet us and we waited awhile to even see her, let alone be greeted or seated. It should have given us a signal to leave but it didn't. It finally became apparent that she was getting tables ready for other customers. After finally getting seated, took awhile for our waiter to come over. We ordered our meal and drinks at once. I've always had good service at RR and quick delivery of food, especially kids meals. This was not the case on this experience. Took a really long time for food to come out. Our veggie pizza was cold but no one came back to check on us so just ate some of it. Fries were cold. My daughter wanted a mac and cheese refill but again, no server. He finally came back to see if we wanted dessert, which we skipped, but we were able to get a mac and cheese refill. Overall it's clear that they are under staffed but it made for a pretty unpleasant experience, cold food, and very slow service when they were not even really busy. I'm glad this isn't our home RR because we wouldn't be back.
As a grandmother raising my grandson, who has a strong preference for fast food, especially hamburgers, I can attest that Red Robin, while not considered traditional fast food, offers a variety of hamburgers that my grandson enjoys. His go-to order consists of two plain kids cheeseburgers with steak fries and a coke. We have established a weekly tradition of visiting the restaurant or bringing his favorite meal home. Despite our small order, the staff at Red Robin always treats us with courtesy and friendliness, making us feel like valued customers. This level of service adds to the overall dining experience, which we both appreciate. I recommend Red Robin for anyone seeking tasty hamburgers at an affordable price.
I adore this restaurant. The employees are what truly make this place special. My favorite dish is the Avo-Cobb-O salad, pictured here with Ruth's ranch dressing. It's delicious!
